It was raining today and i heard the frogs, decided to record some ambience. So it's just the rain on the street outside my house with the occasional gray tree frog mating call going on too. Recorded on a tascam dr-05 and highpassed at 50hz to clean up some of the rumble. Show me what you make with it in the comments!.

Wind turbine sound, near lacedonia, campania, italy, the 16th august 2022 @ 18:30the sound was recorder with a zoom h1n with windshield from a distance of 25m approx from the wind turbine. Processing:* 120hz high pass filter (to reduce some low frequency rumbles due to the wind);* volume adjustment;. Other sound in the recording:* voice of a woman in the distance (at the beginning of the file);* wind gusts;* car passing by (at the end of the file);.

A grey squirrel at the edge of a wood seemed quite upset and repeated called for about 5 minutes. I recorded the end of its calling. It is also my first attempt at recording sound with my camera (canon eos 550d). There turned out to be a fan noise with a slight clicking. I ran noise reduction in audacity to remove it and to help reduce the sound of traffic.

Sounds that can be heard include: various birds, continuous planes flying overhead, an occasional passing car, a light breeze, a horse snorting (at 9:14 and 9:17), a few distant voices, and insects. A chicken yard in the transsylvanian village of țichindeal/romania. Some 300 chickens, along with 2 pigs and some geese are going about their business, a farmhand can be heard filling a water trough at the beginning. Background noise at a noisy japanese diner called saizeria in tokyo. Recorded sometime between 10:00-11:59 pm, you can hear people drinking and eating and having lively conversations in japanese. This is a stereo recording made with 2 coincidental mics at 120゜angles and 2 coincidental mics at 90゜angles.

I found this wonderful 4 foot high waterfall in a small canyon in the shawnee national forest in southern illinois. The cool splashing of the rivulet as it spilled out onto a catch-pool was enhanced by the echo as the sound bounced off the 3-sided grotto. Recorded on one of the hottest days of august 2011 using my rode ntg-2 shotgun mic into zoom h4n recorder.

Recording of a fairly boisterous stream near my house. It has a lot of motion due to the fact that a branch was caught on the bank of the stream which was being pulled about in different directions resulting in different rates of flow and a varying sound.
